What is in it for you?
Network and experience
Being an advisor is a chance to get hands-on experience in social consultancy, build a network in the social ecosystem at Oxford, and build your CV. Yet, we believe the key benefit is knowing that you are part of making a change to students – and in turn the challenges they aim to address.
Committment
Advisors mentors and advise the teams at the OSE Venture Lab programme throughout their startup process. The level of support will vary throughout the year and depending on your team’s needs, but you should be willing to devote at least one hour of consultancy every 2 weeks.
SOcial impact
We are a student-led society joined in a shared vision to see social startups make a real impact. As an advisor, you will be able to increase your impact by sharing your insights and experience with socially minded students eager to make a difference. We got teams in four challenge areas, and will match you to a team based on your interest and experience.

Professional Experience

Comittment
You may choose how many teams you are willing to mentor, and each team will need to meet once every two weeks. Additional support is subject to your own willingness and discussions with the team.
