Stephen Alder, PhD is reading for his Executive MBA as the Said School of Business and a member of Green Templeton College. He is also a Tenured Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Executive Director of the Center for Business, Health, and Prosperity at the David Eccles School of Business. He is currently serving as President of Ensign College of Public Health in Ghana. Professor Alder has extensive experience in global public health and health system development. A health ecologist by training, Professor Alder is focused on how prosperity can be enhanced by integrating business-oriented value creation that comes with innovation and entrepreneurship with practices that enabling health practices. He co-founded Health 2 Go as an approach to establishing provision of basic health services and integration with formal health systems in resource constrained communities. He is now working to improve the viability of Health 2 Go by transforming it into a social franchise.
